The Context
In the week preceding UAE National Day, citizens and residents alike celebrate their nation's union by decorating their streets, cars and homes in the UAE national colours of red and green. However, there's one group that have hitherto been unable to enjoy this technicolour spectacle - the colour blind.
The Thought
With approximately 1 in 10 people in the United Arab Emirates suffering from red/green colour blindness, Lexus set out to give them something no other car brand could - the gift of colour.
The Outcome
In honour of the 52nd National Day, Lexus gifted specially crafted tints to the car windows of colour blind Lexus drivers, letting them experience the full spectrum of the celebrations from the comfort of their cars.
